Scope and use of this website

The website provides general visitor content and information about event-planning and intermediary services. It does not itself grant access to, reserve or rent any venue.

Venue descriptions and indicative capacities are provided for planning purposes only. Availability, permitted use, final capacity, security, technical and conservation conditions require confirmation by the relevant venue operator and, where applicable, a separate agreement with that operator.

We take reasonable care when preparing content, but opening hours, access restrictions, prices, ticket scope and official procedures may change. Verify time-sensitive information with the relevant official source before relying on it.

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security or use its content in a misleading way.

Tickets and third-party services

PragueCastle.com links visitors to an external ticket service. It does not itself sell or issue admission tickets and does not process ticket payments.

The booking link on our Tickets page opens GetYourGuide. If you follow it, the seller identified by GetYourGuide and the external platform’s prices, availability, payment process, cancellation terms and privacy notice apply to that transaction.

Copyright, trademarks and photographs

Unless stated otherwise, original text, design and website materials are owned by the operator or used under licence. They may not be copied, republished, adapted or commercially exploited except as permitted by law or with prior written permission.

Names of monuments, venues, institutions and third-party services are used for identification and description. Third-party trademarks and other protected signs remain the property of their respective owners. Their mention does not imply endorsement, affiliation or official status.

How we handle personal data

Controller and data we receive

The Prague Castle Events s.r.o. is the controller of personal data submitted through this website. We may process your name, email, telephone number, company, event requirements, correspondence, cookie preference and limited technical or security log data. Please do not submit sensitive personal data unless specifically requested and necessary.

Purposes and legal bases

• to answer enquiries and take steps requested before a contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
• to perform contracts and meet accounting or other legal duties — Articles 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR;
• to protect the website, prevent misuse, maintain records and establish or defend legal claims — our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
• to use optional analytics or marketing technologies only where you have given consent — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Recipients and international transfers

When you send an event enquiry, the form fields are received by our enquiry service, a Cloudflare Worker running on Cloudflare's edge network, and delivered by e-mail through Resend (EU region, Ireland) to [email protected] . Neither service stores the enquiry beyond what is needed to deliver the message; Resend keeps delivery logs for a limited period under its privacy policy , and Cloudflare processes the request under its privacy policy .

Data may be shared on a need-to-know basis with contracted hosting, IT, email, professional, accounting or event-service providers, and with public authorities where the law requires it. Processors must act under appropriate contractual safeguards. Any transfer outside the European Economic Area will use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards.

Retention

Personal data should be kept only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including applicable contractual, statutory and legal-claim requirements. Contact us for information about the retention of data relating to your enquiry.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not use personal data submitted through this website for solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

The current website version does not activate optional analytics or advertising cookies. Hosting and security services may use strictly necessary technical identifiers to deliver and protect the website; these do not require consent where they are genuinely necessary.
